Student Registration Information

By registering to participate, you are agreeing to abide by all Southeastern Law Placement Consortium deadlines and to keep open the entire day (8 a.m. until 5:40 p.m.) on Friday, August 10, 2012 for interviews. Registrants also are responsible for contacting their school's career services offices at each date below to obtain or communicate critical information.

  • Cumberland School of Law: Students should register online using Cumberland's Symplicity system.
  • University of Florida: Students should register online using UF's Symplicity system
  • University of Georgia: Students should register online using the MyGaLaw registration system.
  • University of Kentucky: Students should register online using UK's Symplicity system.
  • University of Memphis: Students should contact their Career Services office for information.
  • University of Miami: Instructions and a registration package will be e-mailed to students from your career services office.
  • University of North Carolina: Students should register online using UNC's Symplicity System.
  • University of South Carolina: Students should register online using SC's Symplicity system.
  • Southern Methodist University: Students should register online using SMU's Symplicity system.
  • University of Tennessee: Students should register online using UT's Symplicity system.
  • Wake Forest University: Students should register online using WFU's Symplicity system. NOTE: WF students must abide their job fair attendance policy which differs from the SELPC policy.
Students Contact their School for Interview/Alternate Selection Status July 24, 2012 (Tuesday) By registering to participate, all students agree to be responsible for contacting their schools' career services office on this date.
Deadline for Applicable Students to Confirm or Cancel Interview or Alternate Selections with their School. Review rules governing attendance at right. July 25, 2012 (Wednesday) Please note:
  • Students who are selected for only one interview may, if they wish, decline the interview and withdraw from the program.
  • Students who are selected for 2 to 10 interviews are unconditionally obligated to attend the job fair and appear for each of the interviews for which they've been selected. (An exception will be made if the student accepts a job offer prior to the job fair and communicates that to his or her Career Services Office as soon as the offer is accepted.)
  • Students who are selected for more than 10 interviews are permitted (but not required) to decline interviews in excess of 10.

SOUTHEASTERN LAW PLACEMENT CONSORTIUM August 10, 2012
(Friday)		 Interviews begin at 8:00 a.m. and continue until 5:40 p.m. You must arrive at least 45 minutes prior to your first interview, allowing extra time for traffic, travel and parking. Traffic is unusually congested in this business area of Atlanta. You must first check in at the SELPC student desk on the mezzanine level at the Marriott Suites Midtown.

Job Fair Site Information

SELPC will be held at the Marriott Suites Midtown, located at 35 14th Street (between West Peachtree and Peachtree Streets) on Friday, August 10. Interviews will be conducted from 8:00 a.m. to 5:40 p.m. You MUST arrive at least 45 minutes prior to your first interview, allowing extra time for traffic and travel. Upon arrival, you MUST check in at the SELPC registration desk (2nd floor - Mezzanine Level).

Parking at the Marriott Suites Midtown is at least $18.00 per day/self park.

Traveling by MARTA

The closest MARTA station is the Arts Center Station (about a block and a half away). Exit on the West Peachtree side of the station, turn left, and walk one block to 15th Street. Turn right at Peachtree St. NE and walk one block to 14th Street. The hotel is half a block on the left, across 14th Street. The MARTA one-way fare is $2.00.
